WWF Bonus Card is a Bonus Card created in partnership with WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature), for all the people that want to give nature a hand.
Set up in 1961, WWF is one of the world's largest and most effective non-profit organizations running nature conservation projects. WWF is supported by approximately 5 million people worldwide and is active in over 100 countries.
WWF’s global mission is to stop the degradation of the planet's natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature.
In Romania WWF fights, as well, for a better future for nature and people, working with communities, authorities and seeking long term solutions. A future in which forests, endangered species, protected areas, the Delta enjoy the protection that they deserve and are respected by the human specie.
Only if we protect the natural areas and the species that they host, restore the habitats affected by the human intervention and stop the projects that don’t take into consideration the impact on the environment, can we offer to future generations a healthy and close to nature life.
By launching WWF Bonus Card, the first product of its kind on the Romanian market, Garanti Bank promotes a more profound understanding of the environmental problems that the world and our country face today and, at the same time, supports the nature conservation projects carried out by WWF in Romania.
Therefore, 0.5% of the value of the purchases made with WWF Bonus Card will be directed to WWF, in order to support their projects. This percentage shall be supported by GE Garanti Bank, at no cost for the cardholder.
This new product, issued under the MasterCard logo, is a credit card that offers all the benefits of the Bonus Card loyalty program (bonus accumulation, bonus redemption, free installments, grace period), giving also to nature lovers the possibility to get involved in nature conservation and contribute directly to the improvement of the environment they live in, by supporting the projects of WWF.
WWF Bonus Card holders will receive periodically information regarding the evolution of WWF projects and opportunities for getting involved in environmental protection activities.
The new WWF Bonus Card may be obtained in any GE Garanti Bank Branch, by calling Alo Garanti, by applying online (and you will be contacted by a GE GarantiBank sales representative) or by taking benefit of Bonus Card holder’s recommendation through the Member get Member campaign. Moreover, those who are already Bonus Card holders may apply for the new version, with no additional cost.
